Dr. Duvall
Born in Kentucky and raised in Valrico, I graduated from Bloomingdale High School and received my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from the University of Florida.
I love working with pets on a daily basis as it gives me great pleasure to welcome puppies and kittens into a new family. I particularly enjoy dermatology, geriatric medicine and nutrition.
I have a special fondness fro Rio, my black lab mix. Together we participate in the sport of canine nose work which involves searching for and identifying the locations of various odors. In addition, agility training keeps Rio physically fit, confident and responsive to commands while having lots of fun. Thanks to my husband Ron’s enthusiastic support, we often share family weekends around those competitions.
When I’m not being a veterinarian or playing with my pets, I enjoy creative activities like photography, drawing, scrapbooking and painting. Outdoor physical activities like backpacking, scuba diving and birding help me unwind. Running keeps my fit and satisfies my competitive drive. I have completed the Disney Marathon twice along with many half marathons and local area races.
I have been fortunate to be able to follow my passions both professionally and personally. I also have the benefit and joy of having my wonderful family close to support me in these endeavors. I look forward to caring for and helping you enjoy your pets.
